Allgorun Agricultural Co., Ltd. Successfully Completes Practical Apple Mango Cultivation Training for Farmers

As demand for apple mango cultivation continues to grow, a practical field-oriented training program sharing cultivation know-how and management standards was held in Gochang.

Allgorun Agricultural Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Ik Joon) announced that it conducted a practical cultivation training program for apple mango growers for the 2025 and 2026 seasons at the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center on the 6th.

The training was attended directly by the chairman of Miyakisha from Japan, and focused on hands-on education covering the entire cultivation process, from planting apple mango seedlings to growth-stage management and harvesting. During the session, Allgorun also shared its self-developed cultivation manual and liquid fertilizer management standards.

The program emphasized that apple mango cultivation requires stage-specific management rather than simply supplying fertilizers. Since nutritional and environmental requirements differ depending on the growth stage — including vegetative growth, flower bud differentiation, fruit setting, and fruit enlargement — growers were advised to apply management practices tailored to each stage.

In particular, the training introduced a standard liquid fertilizer management model: strengthening tree vigor with nitrogen-focused nutrients during the vegetative stage, reducing nitrogen during flower bud differentiation, and shifting to potassium- and calcium-centered management during the fruit enlargement stage. Temperature, moisture, and balanced tree vigor were also highlighted as key factors affecting yield and sugar content.

The session also included guidance on seedling selection standards. Allgorun explained that because apple mangoes are generally harvested once a year, the initial choice of seedlings can significantly impact future productivity and harvest quality.

According to the company, some farms experience difficulties after selecting seedlings primarily based on price or beginning cultivation without sufficient technical guidance. It was also noted that stable production can be difficult if growers do not fully understand the growth characteristics of each variety before cultivation.

The training further explained that when selecting seedlings, growers should evaluate pruning conditions and tree vigor management structures rather than simply focusing on the number of leaves or branches. Seedlings cultivated mainly for ornamental tree shapes may also be disadvantageous for fruit production.

Allgorun stated that it has established an operational support system that continues after seedling supply, including cultivation environment management, disease control, and stage-specific cultivation support. The company added that it is expanding its support scope beyond seedling distribution to include cultivation, harvesting, and distribution systems.

In addition, Allgorun is advancing its apple mango cultivation system through collaboration projects with local governments such as Gochang and Geumsan, as well as through technology exchange programs with countries including Japan and Vietnam.

CEO Choi Ik Joon stated, “In apple mango cultivation, post-planting management is more important than the initial setup itself. We will continue expanding field-oriented cultivation support so that growers can achieve real harvests and profitability.”
